Procurement & Contracts Manager

About the role

The Procurement & Contracts Manager will oversee the end‑to‑end procurement process, negotiate contracts and ensure the timely acquisition of materials and services while maintaining quality, cost‑effectiveness and compliance with company policies. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the role is pivotal in supporting Azizi Foods’ operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement departmental objectives, policies and procedures for procurement.
• Design innovative, cost‑effective procurement strategies that address industry complexities.
• Lead transformational initiatives to enhance procurement capabilities and efficiency.
• Negotiate complex equipment, supply and service requests with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure all procurement activities are completed on schedule and contracts comply with applicable laws.
• Manage supplier onboarding and retention to secure high‑quality, competitively priced products and services.
• Stay current on procurement best practices and market trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of purchasing, supplier management, contracting, tendering, logistics and vendor evaluation experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field; Business Administration or IT preferred.
• Chartered Procurement Manager certification is a plus.
• Project Management experience is a plus.
