Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead the end‑to‑end purchasing process for shipchandling supplies at Gadget Link Shipchandlers in Dubai. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that vessels receive the right products at the right time, supporting smooth maritime operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify procurement needs, source suppliers and negotiate contracts and pricing.
• Evaluate and manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality and delivery standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate deliveries to align with vessel schedules.
• Analyse purchasing data, track market trends and produce cost‑analysis reports.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure adherence to internal policies and UAE import/export regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise cost, quality and supply reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or supplier evaluation within maritime or logistics environments.
• Strong contract negotiation and management capabilities.
• Advanced analytical abilities for cost analysis, demand forecasting and performance monitoring.
• Good knowledge of maritime supply chains and familiarity with UAE trade regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with suppliers and internal teams.
