Procurement Specialist

About the role

e.construct is a fast‑growing, multi‑disciplinary engineering firm seeking a detail‑oriented Procurement Specialist to join its small, dynamic procurement team in Dubai. The role involves hands‑on management of day‑to‑day procurement activities, close collaboration with finance, and support for cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor records in NetSuite or Oracle ERP.
• Ensure timely processing of procurement requests, approvals, and order confirmations.
• Source, negotiate, and contract suppliers while maintaining the vendor database.
• Track supplier performance, conduct evaluations, and support compliance with company procurement standards.
• Collaborate with the Finance team on invoice verification, payment schedules, and reconciliation of purchase‑order‑to‑payment cycles.
• Prepare reports on procurement spend, cost savings, and budget adherence.
• Provide administrative support to the Procurement Manager and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in an engineering or construction environment.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or Oracle.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
