Procurement Supervisor - UAE National

About the role

The Procurement Supervisor supports the Supply Chain Director by managing all procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing of goods and services, and maintaining compliance with company policies. This role is focused on cost‑effectiveness, supplier performance, and transparent procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on purchase requisitions from various departments.
• Conduct market research to identify suitable suppliers, products, and services.
• Streamline purchase processes to ensure smooth and timely order flow.
• Process purchase orders in line with procurement policies and procedures.
• Maintain an updated register of approved suppliers, products, and contracts.
• Secure best value for money while maintaining quality, reliability, and timely delivery.
• Manage and administer contracts to ensure compliance and satisfactory performance.
• Maintain an auditable trail for all procurement‑related decisions and activities.
• Provide weekly and monthly procurement reports as required.
• Enforce compliance with established procurement systems, procedures, and policies.
• Guide staff on products, processes, and procurement‑related procedures.
• Ensure all procurement processes comply with legal, ethical, and company standards.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor KPIs, and handle back‑orders or expedited deliveries.
• Supervise and support procurement staff, train them, and monitor performance against strategic objectives.
• Assist in implementing best‑practice procurement systems and streamlining processes.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing functions.
• Ability to supervise and develop procurement staff.
• Strong knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in supplier performance management and contract administration.
• Capability to produce accurate procurement reports and maintain audit trails.
