Product Designer

About the role

We are seeking a Product Designer to create intuitive, scalable, and user‑centered digital experiences for talabat, the leading online food‑ordering platform in the Middle East. At the IC2 level you will own feature‑level end‑to‑end design, collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full design lifecycle for features, from discovery and user research to wireframes, interactive prototypes, and pixel‑perfect production delivery.
• Translate user needs and business requirements into validated design solutions in partnership with PM and engineering leads.
• Plan and conduct evaluative user research, including usability testing and interviews, and use quantitative metrics to validate hypotheses.
• Apply and advocate for the design system across web and mobile, identifying gaps and proposing new components.
• Design complex backend workflows, edge cases, offline states, and multi‑step journeys, ensuring technical feasibility during handoff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Design, HCI, Visual Communication, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–4 years of full‑time UX/UI design experience in an agile, consumer‑facing digital product environment such as e‑commerce or food delivery.
• Strong product design portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end problem solving, UX rationale, and polished visual UI execution.
• Autonomous, detail‑oriented mindset with openness to critique and continuous growth.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, auto‑layout, and interactive prototyping.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted design tools to accelerate workflow.
