Production Engineer – Aluminum

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to lead daily operations in our aluminium factory. The role focuses on efficient fabrication of aluminium products and façade systems while ensuring quality compliance and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily production activities to meet targets and delivery schedules.
• Review approved shop drawings, cutting lists and production orders before releasing work to the floor.
• Collaborate with Design, Estimation, Procurement, Stores, QA/QC and Project teams to maintain a smooth production flow.
• Oversee fabrication processes including cutting, machining, assembly, glazing and packing of aluminium systems.
• Ensure availability of aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, accessories and other required materials.
• Prepare and maintain production schedules, track progress and optimise manpower, machinery and material utilisation.
• Identify bottlenecks, implement corrective actions and minimise waste.
• Guarantee that all fabricated products comply with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Work with QA/QC to resolve non‑conformities and drive corrective‑preventive actions.
• Monitor production costs, material wastage and resource consumption, recommending cost‑saving measures.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost factory efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and operating procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production reports for management.
• Coordinate with project and logistics teams for timely dispatch of finished products.
• Provide technical guidance to production supervisors and factory personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Civil engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of production engineering experience, preferably in aluminium, façade, curtain‑wall or glazing fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of aluminium fabrication processes and factory workflows.
• Proven ability to read and interpret shop drawings, fabrication drawings and cutting lists.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling, manpower allocation and resource management.
• Understanding of quality control practices and production efficiency.
• UAE/GCC experience in a similar industry is preferred.
