Production Engineer – Ambulance & Special-Purpose Vehicles

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer to lead the manufacturing, assembly and conversion of ambulances, mobile clinics and other special‑purpose vehicles. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will translate engineering designs and Bills of Quantities into safe, efficient and high‑quality production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor vehicle manufacturing, assembly and conversion activities, ensuring schedules are met.
• Translate approved drawings, specifications and BOQs into detailed production plans and workflows.
• Oversee vehicle body modifications and integration of mechanical, electrical and medical systems.
• Allocate work, monitor progress, resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with automotive, ambulance and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Production, Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics or related engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience in ambulance, automotive or special‑purpose vehicle manufacturing.
• Practical knowledge of vehicle body fabrication, assembly, electrical integration and mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and BOQs.
