Regional Group Procurement Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a major global manufacturing organisation that is transforming its procurement function. The new Regional Group Procurement Manager will be based in Dubai and will oversee procurement activities across the Middle East and Asia, linking global strategy with regional execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement activity across manufacturing operations in the Middle East and Asia, connecting global strategy with regional execution.
• Translate global category and sourcing strategies into practical site‑level procurement actions.
• Develop and influence site‑based procurement and purchasing teams across the region.
• Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality and senior regional leadership.
• Support implementation of new procurement processes, systems, governance and standardized ways of working.
• Identify savings, efficiencies and value‑creation opportunities while ensuring operational continuity and security of supply.
• Drive consistency around procurement governance, compliance and supplier management.
• Represent regional requirements within the wider Procurement Leadership Team and influence global decision‑making.

Required profile

• Significant procurement experience within manufacturing, chemicals, industrial or similar complex environments.
• Strong direct procurement background with solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Experience operating in global, multi‑site, matrix organisations, preferably with responsibility across multiple countries or regions.
• Proven involvement in procurement transformation and change, including new processes, governance, systems or ways of working.
• Experience managing and developing procurement teams, including through matrix or dotted‑line structures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior regional and site leadership.
• Pragmatic, commercially focused approach, comfortable operating through ambiguity and driving change.
