Production Engineer (PMAS)

About the role

The Production Engineer (PMAS) will lead major works from concept through to hand‑over, ensuring that design and execution meet ADNOC’s industry standards and operational goals. This role combines technical oversight, site execution control, and close collaboration with engineering disciplines to support safe and efficient production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead major works from initiation to close‑out, aligning scope, goals and deliverables with company objectives.
• Review layouts, control schemes, specifications, O&M studies and 3D models, providing engineering inputs.
• Resolve technical and execution issues that arise during major works implementation.
• Review engineering packages, including data sheets, schedules, load lists and commissioning procedures.
• Manage site execution aspects of production and process disciplines, supporting safe operations and production targets.
• Identify and mitigate interface problems between ongoing works, existing plant and subsystems.
• Participate in site surveys, installation, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and de‑commissioning activities.
• Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrument Diagrams (PID) and Utility Flow Diagrams (UFD).

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years (72 months) of experience in production engineering or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale engineering projects in an oil & gas environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on safety and cost optimisation.
• Excellent communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
