Production Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Production Manager will lead safe, efficient and compliant manufacturing activities for assigned product lines in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure production plans are executed on time, within quality standards and cost targets while coordinating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet schedule, quality and cost objectives.
• Plan and verify production readiness – manpower, materials, tools, documentation and system requirements.
• Execute production orders through ERP/SAP/MES, managing order release, routing compliance, labor booking and material consumption.
• Optimize workforce planning, shift coverage, OEE/OLE performance and productivity.
• Monitor output, schedule adherence, downtime, quality issues and material shortages; drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Stores, Maintenance, HSE, IT and other stakeholders to resolve operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, HSE regulations, SOPs, 5S and audit readiness.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production or manufacturing management, preferably in a high‑tech or defence environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO management systems and HSE compliance.
• Ability to manage cross‑functional teams and drive results under pressure.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
