Program QA/QC Engineer – Mechanical (Substation & Power Transmission)

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will oversee the Project Quality Management System for large‑scale power and water transmission projects in Abu Dhabi, coordinating technical and functional activities across multiple consultants and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and maintenance of the Program Quality Management System across all assigned projects.
• Monitor compliance of consultants and contractors with approved Project Quality Plans, procedures and specifications.
• Coordinate collection, review and consolidation of monthly QA/QC reports and dashboards.
• Manage audit schedules, follow‑up on audit findings, NCRs and corrective actions.
• Participate in site quality surveillance visits, review inspection records and verify implementation of Inspection and Test Plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience on large‑scale power and water transmission projects.
