Project Controller – ERP Implementation & Financial Governance

About the role

This position joins Siemens Energy's Commercial Project Management team in the Middle East to act as the financial subject‑matter expert for the new AGORA ERP implementation and to provide ongoing project controlling for Gas Services onshore projects.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as key user and data steward for ERP/SAP (S4E Unify / AGORA) implementation, ensuring financial and controlling data integrity.
• Lead monthly and quarterly data validation and cleansing activities across departments.
• Support digitalisation of financial controlling and reporting through process optimisation and conceptual work.
• Provide training and post‑go‑live support to the finance community.
• Manage and analyse project financial results – revenue, costs, gross profit, cash flow – in line with Financial Reporting Guidelines.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end forecasting, planning, budgeting and variance reporting.
• Produce regular business performance reports and key financial KPI dashboards for management.
• Conduct periodic balance‑sheet reviews for critical items such as receivables, inventories and provisions.
• Coordinate with central accounting to implement new or updated reporting guidelines.
• Perform lessons‑learned analyses and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
• Extensive experience in project controlling within a project‑based business.
• Proven track record in ERP/SAP implementation projects.

• ERP/SAP systems – S4E Unify (SAP S/4HANA) and AGORA.
