Project Coordinator – Data Centre Power Systems

About the role

We are a leading provider of mission‑critical infrastructure and data centre solutions seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to manage high‑stakes generator and power system projects in Dubai. The role focuses on ensuring seamless coordination of complex backup power installations that keep data centre operations running without interruption.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project documentation, vendor schedules, and delivery timelines for generator and power system installations.
• Define project scope, specifications, and compliance requirements for generator capacity and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to monitor progress, schedules, and quality assurance of power and backup systems.
• Engage stakeholders to mitigate risks, manage scope changes, and enforce strict deadlines.
• Support project close‑out, including performance documentation and compliance testing of generators.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing data centre or mission‑critical projects, especially those involving generator and backup power solutions.
• Strong understanding of power distribution, generator technology, and UPS systems within data centre environments.
• Excellent organisational abilities to coordinate technical documentation, vendor activities, and project milestones.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with technical and management teams.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards such as IEEE, NFPA, and local regulations.
