Project Development / Construction Associate – Lawyer

About the role

We are seeking a commercially minded Project Development / Construction Associate to join our highly regarded Projects team in Dubai. The role offers the chance to work on major infrastructure and energy developments across the GCC, focusing on non‑contentious construction and project development matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and negotiating EPC contracts, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and related project documentation.
• Support developers, sponsors and lenders on project structuring and delivery.
• Conduct legal due diligence for infrastructure and energy investments.
• Advise on risk allocation and contractual frameworks for large‑scale projects.
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior associates on major regional mandates.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 2–4 years post‑qualification experience in non‑contentious construction or project development.
• Experience advising on infrastructure and/or energy projects, preferably with regional exposure.
• Strong drafting ability and solid understanding of risk allocation principles.
• Commercially aware with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Motivated, collaborative and eager to develop within a leading projects practice.
