Project Director – Mixed‑Use Developments

About the role

The Project Director will lead the strategic planning and delivery of mixed‑use development programmes for a well‑established real‑estate developer in the UAE. This senior position oversees project packages to meet leadership expectations and programme objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and delivery teams to develop briefs and technical requirements for consultant procurement.
• Lead and manage external consultants, ensuring compliance with contracts, schedules, budgets and quality standards.
• Develop and present delivery strategies, progress updates and value‑engineering initiatives to senior leadership.
• Oversee risk management, HSE coordination and statutory approvals with relevant authorities.
• Partner with procurement, commercial and controls teams on scheduling, change management, claims and overall performance.
• Provide leadership to Associate Directors and project teams, ensuring effective execution and stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• Strong background in construction project management within leisure, travel or tourism sectors.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale projects and deep knowledge of construction regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams, manage stakeholders and solve complex problems.
• Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering or a related field.
