Project Engineer / Coordinator – Civil & Mechanical

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer / Coordinator to support civil and mechanical works on our construction sites in Sharjah. The role assists the Project Manager in planning, execution, monitoring and reporting of projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality, safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between site teams, consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress and ensure tasks are completed according to the schedule.
• Handle material submissions, inspections, approvals and technical documentation.
• Review drawings and collaborate with relevant engineering disciplines.
• Assist the Project Manager with planning, execution, monitoring and reporting.
• Follow up on site requirements and resolve technical and coordination issues promptly.
• Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes and other project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and project specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in construction, civil, mechanical or MEP projects.
• Proven experience in project coordination, site supervision and execution.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Ability to coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
