Project Engineer – High‑Rise Construction (UAE)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to lead high‑rise building projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves coordinating all phases of construction, from mobilization through handover, ensuring compliance with drawings, schedules, quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities and support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling and progress monitoring.
• Supervise structural, architectural, MEP and finishing works on site, conducting inspections and ensuring adherence to method statements and quality standards.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Manage authority approvals and inspections with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, ADDC, Trakhees, DDA and other relevant bodies.
• Assist in cost control by reviewing BOQs, variation orders and monitoring material usage.
• Ensure QA/QC and HSE procedures are implemented, identify risks and report issues.
• Prepare regular progress reports and maintain project documentation, RFIs and material approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in high‑rise construction projects in the UAE.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
