Project Engineer - Mechanical

About the role

We are Azizi Developments, a leading Dubai‑based developer, seeking a Project Engineer – Mechanical to join our onsite supervision team. The role involves inspecting and monitoring all mechanical installations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical works including HVAC, chilled water, fire suppression, plumbing, drainage and building management systems at various construction stages.
• Verify that installations meet approved drawings, project specifications, contract requirements and local authority regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, witness testing and commissioning activities, and prepare inspection reports.
• Identify non‑conformances, track corrective actions and coordinate with contractors, consultants and project teams.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements and inspection requests.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental standards are upheld on site.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and produce periodic progress and quality reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical inspection or supervision, preferably with consultant or supervision firms in the UAE.
• Proven experience on high‑rise towers and residential building projects.
