Project Engineer – New Product Development & Introduction

About the role

The Project Engineer NPDI will lead cross‑functional new product development and sustaining projects for Vertiv’s Busbar line of business. Based in Ras Al Khaimah, the role ensures timely delivery, cost control and alignment with the NPDI process.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate cross‑functional planning and execution to deliver projects on time, within budget and scope.
• Monitor team schedules, coordinate critical‑path activities and provide executive‑level updates.
• Track project schedule and cost, identify issues, drive decisions and manage risks with contingency plans.
• Ensure compliance with the New Product Development & Introduction (NPDI) process and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with waterfall (stage‑gate) project methodology.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven competence in problem‑solving, data analysis and KPI reporting.
