Project Finance Controller – Cost Management for Airport Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Project Finance Controller to lead cost, commercial and financial control for complex airport logistics engineering projects in Dubai. The role bridges project management, engineering, procurement and finance to deliver accurate cost visibility, cash‑flow forecasts and profitability analysis throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project cost structures, budgets, commitments, actuals and forecasts.
• Prepare and update cost reports, cost‑to‑complete, cash‑flow and margin projections.
• Monitor planned vs actual costs, identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Support revenue recognition, customer billing, payment applications and invoicing milestones.
• Review supplier and subcontractor payment applications and ensure contractual compliance.
• Assist commercial and contract management with variations, claims and extension of time cost impacts.
• Produce periodic management reports on cost performance, revenue, cash flow and risks.
• Act as the financial interface across the project organisation to ensure aligned forecasts.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in project cost control, quantity surveying or project finance within large engineering, EPC or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with airport systems or industrial automation projects is a plus.
