Project Financial Controller – ICT Projects

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Project Financial Controller to oversee the financial management of large‑scale ICT projects. Working closely with sales, delivery, procurement and collection teams, you will ensure projects meet financial targets while adhering to internal policies and controls.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with project teams throughout the lifecycle as the primary finance business partner.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, monthly reviews and profitability analysis for assigned ICT projects.
• Monitor financial performance against approved budgets and key KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve project profitability and operational efficiency.
• Perform rolling forecasts, variance analysis and financial modelling to aid commercial decisions.
• Ensure compliance with financial governance, internal controls and risk mitigation plans.
• Assist in project baseline preparation, ongoing reporting and financial closing activities.
• Drive continuous improvement of project financial management processes.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in project finance, controlling or commercial finance.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management abilities.
• Professional English communication skills.
• Experience in ICT, telecommunications, system integration or technology sectors is preferred.
