Project Handover Engineer – Electrical ELV

About the role

AESG is seeking a Project Handover Engineer specialised in Electrical and ELV systems to join its Dubai office. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and asset registers that support the successful handover of construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, compile and coordinate O&M manuals and asset registers for all electrical and ELV systems.
• Gather technical data from material submittals, drawings, reports and other project documentation.
• Liaise with engineering teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure documentation is accurate, compliant and delivered on schedule.
• Review and interpret electrical and ELV drawings, schematics, schedules and specifications.
• Maintain alignment with UAE, KSA and international standards such as CIBSE and NFPA.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience preparing O&M manuals, asset registers or technical reports in construction.
• Strong understanding of electrical and ELV building systems and maintenance principles.
• Excellent organisational, coordination and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.

Required skills

• Electrical & ELV systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, power, lighting control, BMS, fire alarm, ICT, central battery, specialist systems).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF editing tools.
• Knowledge of CIBSE, NFPA and other relevant standards.
