Project Lead – Data Management Framework

About the role

The Project Lead – Data Management Framework will support the Project Manager/Program Director in the day‑to‑day execution, tracking and coordination of DMF initiatives. The role ensures delivery activities progress as planned, drives execution discipline across workstreams and acts as a bridge between Business, Data and Technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain detailed trackers and monitor tasks, dependencies and deliverables to guarantee progress.
• Coordinate stakeholders across business, data and technology functions, ensuring alignment and timely issue resolution.
• Provide working‑level involvement with delivery teams, leveraging a basic understanding of data tools, platforms and system dependencies.
• Drive execution discipline across multiple workstreams and support the Program Director in reporting and governance.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience delivering data projects, technology transformation and data‑governance initiatives.
• Proven hands‑on delivery experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Experience delivering a Data Management Framework or similar large‑scale programs.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or SAFe are preferred.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments (e.g., CBUAE, BCBS 239) is a plus.
