Project Management Manager

About the role

ABB is seeking a senior Project Management Manager to lead its Project Management Office in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Local Division Manager UAE Cluster, you will work onsite, supporting project managers and driving project execution strategy across the Oil & Gas and Power & Water sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the PMO team, ensuring consistent application of project management policies and work instructions.
• Support project managers in defining and implementing project execution strategies.
• Oversee portfolio‑level project reviews and act as an escalation point for complex issues.
• Drive continuous improvement of customer satisfaction and identify operational improvement opportunities.
• Provide coaching, career development, and capability building for sub‑ordinates.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in project management, preferably within automation and electrical solutions for Oil & Gas and Power & Water.
• Hands‑on experience with onshore and offshore projects, especially with ADNOC and GCC customers.
• Engineering degree with demonstrated expertise in automation systems or process applications.
• Fluent English communication with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
• Current PMP or ABB PM/SPM certification.
