Project Manager – Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of construction projects, from planning through commissioning and handover. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation to final handover.
• Develop execution plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover activities.
• Review contracts, specifications and scope requirements.
• Monitor budgets, implement cost controls and manage variation orders, claims and contract amendments.
• Support commercial negotiations with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Conduct delay analysis, Extension of Time assessments and claims management.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts and track financial performance.
• Serve as primary contact for clients and key stakeholders, organising progress meetings and status reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, HSEQ policies, QA/QC standards and environmental requirements.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, allocate resources efficiently and mentor project personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 10–15 years of construction and oil & gas project management experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a Project Manager or leadership role.
• Proven experience managing EPC, infrastructure, industrial or energy projects in the UAE/GCC.
• Experience with ADNOC projects, refineries, pipelines, offshore/onshore facilities or major EPC contractors is highly desirable.
