Project Manager – Electrical Systems Integration

About the role

The Project Manager will independently lead project teams to plan, execute, monitor and deliver electrical system integration projects, including relay and control panels, low‑voltage switchgear, protection systems and associated automation equipment. The role ensures safe, on‑time, on‑budget delivery while meeting quality standards and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of multiple projects from contract award through commissioning and handover.
• Develop project schedules, resource plans, budgets and execution strategies.
• Monitor progress, implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with scope, quality, safety and contractual obligations.
• Manage project risks, issues and change requests.
• Coordinate engineering activities for relay and control panels, LV switchgear, protection schemes and system integration.
• Provide customer specifications, single‑line diagrams, protection philosophies and technical documentation to the design team.
• Facilitate technical discussions with customers, consultants and utilities.
• Oversee procurement of long‑lead electrical equipment and monitor manufacturing progress of panels and switchgear assemblies.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading electrical integration projects from contract award to final handover.
• Ability to develop and manage project schedules, budgets and resources.
• Strong coordination skills with engineering, design, procurement, production and quality teams.
• Experience handling project risks, issues and change management.
