Project Manager – Large‑scale Multi‑disciplinary Projects (UAE/GCC)

About the role

Atkins is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale, multi‑disciplinary projects across the UAE and GCC region. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to client expectations while coordinating design, technical, and financial aspects.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate scope, fees, deliverables and programme to the team during kick‑offs and regular updates.
• Manage sub‑consultant agreements, payments and technical design management.
• Develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan, ensuring integration of client requirements and design packages.
• Support the Project Director in producing project management documents, risk identification, scope change management and resource coordination.
• Provide monthly internal and external reporting and ensure adherence to quality systems.
• Monitor design team progress, costs and risks; prepare invoices and manage variations.
• Liaise with clients on technical delivery components and conduct project debriefs.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the Middle East, with at least 4 years in a senior project management or assistant project manager role.
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects in the UAE/GCC region on time and within budget.
• Strong commercial acumen, risk management and financial monitoring skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
