Project Manager – Logistics & Heavy Lifting

About the role

Hareket is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead complex international logistics, heavy‑lifting and transportation projects. The role involves planning, executing, monitoring and delivering projects across Turkey and the Caspian region, with a focus on greenfield developments, shutdowns, maintenance and offshore activities.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan and manage project personnel, equipment and operational resources.
• Coordinate all project phases from preparation to close‑out.
• Manage schedules, budgets, contractual requirements, risks and operational priorities.
• Lead execution of heavy lifting, transportation, logistics and installation activities.
• Ensure safe, on‑time, on‑budget delivery meeting quality standards.
• Monitor financial performance and maintain budget control.
• Identify risks, delays and challenges, implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, internal departments and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, contracts and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in complex logistics, heavy lifting, transportation, engineering, construction or project‑based operations.
• Preferably experience in wind energy projects, project logistics, heavy transportation or wind turbine erection.
• Strong project planning, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of decisions.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams including engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and operational personnel.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work on international projects and travel as required.
