Project Manager – Public Finance Management School

About the role

The Department of Finance – Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale capability development initiatives for its School of Public Finance Management. You will coordinate the design, delivery and evaluation of specialised training programmes for senior financial professionals across government entities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines and workstreams for finance capability initiatives.
• Coordinate all project phases from strategy design and curriculum development to rollout and post‑programme evaluation.
• Track milestones, manage risks, maintain a live RAID log and run weekly governance checkpoints.
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments, consultants, partner institutions and government entities.
• Identify skill gaps, nominate participants and monitor engagement levels.
• Oversee vendor and consultant performance, review deliverables and ensure contractual compliance.
• Manage programme logistics, including intake, calendars, examinations, certifications and learner support.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of project management experience, preferably in public‑sector finance or training programmes.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and multi‑vendor contracts.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience preparing dashboards and management reports.
