Project Manager – Risk and Finance (Banking)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead risk and finance programmes within the banking sector in Dubai. You will be responsible for planning, executing and governing complex projects, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute programmes, defining scope, objectives and key milestones.
• Develop detailed work breakdown structures and comprehensive project plans.
• Perform resource planning and allocate team members effectively.
• Identify, assess and manage risks and issues, maintaining a risk log and conducting mitigation workshops with stakeholders.
• Monitor programme progress, adjust timelines, and manage dependencies to meet delivery targets.
• Document all programme activities, decisions, changes and milestones.
• Communicate status, escalated risks and mitigation actions to senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate regular project governance meetings with all relevant parties.

Required profile

• 10 to 14 years of project management experience, preferably in banking or finance.
• Proven ability to deliver large‑scale programmes on time and within scope.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading risk and issue management workshops.
• Ability to work onsite in Dubai and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
