Project Manager – Technical Projects Department

About the role

The Technical Projects Department of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multi‑disciplinary engineering projects from concept through commissioning. You will be responsible for delivering new plants, facilities, and modifications while ensuring economic efficiency and compliance with shareholder guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical input during proposal and concept development, coordinating design and material specifications.
• Manage procurement, tendering, and contract negotiations with multinational contractors.
• Supervise Project Management Consultants and ensure effective site supervision and project administration.
• Lead cross‑functional engineering teams through all project phases, from initiation to hand‑over.
• Ensure projects meet HSE requirements, stay within schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Participate in company‑wide committees and provide expertise in project management and engineering disciplines.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years (144 months) of experience managing large, multi‑disciplinary engineering projects.
• Proven ability to lead multinational contractor teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of HSE standards and compliance in the oil & gas sector.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
