Project Manager – Urbanism & Planning

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead urbanism and planning projects in Dubai. You will be responsible for delivering urban design, landscape, and concept architecture initiatives on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle for urban design and planning initiatives, from planning to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets; track progress against KPIs.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including architects, engineers, designers, and contractors.
• Handle commercial aspects such as contract negotiation, vendor management, and cost control.
• Monitor operational efficiency, implement process improvements, and ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
• Prepare and present status reports, financial forecasts, and risk assessments to senior management.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans.
• Lead, mentor, and foster a collaborative environment for project team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in urban design, landscape, or building projects.
• Architectural or engineering background.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in financial planning and forecasting.
