Project Surveyor

About the role

AECOM is looking for a detail‑oriented Project Surveyor to join its Dubai team. You will manage quantity surveying activities for building projects, ensuring accurate cost estimation, budget control and comprehensive documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed measurements and quantity take‑offs from architectural and engineering drawings.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects.
• Analyze project costs, develop cost reports and forecasts, and monitor budgets for variances.
• Maintain project documentation, including specifications, schedules and cost breakdowns.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects and contractors to ensure timely delivery of accurate information.
• Review contracts and tender documents to identify cost implications and risks.
• Utilise quantity surveying software and tools for analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards, regulations and best practices.
• Provide cost‑related advice to stakeholders and support variation and change order documentation.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the building sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to produce precise cost estimates.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with multidisciplinary teams.
