Projects Engineer - Fitout

About the role

The Projects Engineer – Fitout will lead the planning, coordination and supervision of interior fit‑out works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget while meeting all quality and specification requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor fit‑out projects from start to handover.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs and contracts to guarantee correct implementation.
• Coordinate daily site activities with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and track project schedules, progress reports and cost control measures.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage material procurement, delivery and on‑site inspections.
• Attend client, consultant and subcontractor meetings and handle risk mitigation.
• Verify subcontractor progress, evaluate payment applications and coordinate approvals.
• Prepare as‑built documentation, operation manuals and handover packages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience managing interior fit‑out projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of fit‑out construction methods, materials and finishing works.
• Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and safety standards.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
