Proposals Engineer III – Gas Compression & Processing

About the role

The Proposals Engineer III will lead the preparation, coordination and submission of competitive technical and commercial proposals for gas compression and processing projects. You will translate client requirements into cost‑effective, technically compliant solutions while working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse RFQs, ITBs and client specifications.
• Develop technical proposals covering process design, equipment selection and system configurations for compression, treatment, dehydration and separation.
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, procurement, project management and supply‑chain departments.
• Prepare cost estimates, pricing structures and commercial proposals in line with Enerflex guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with technical, commercial and contractual requirements.
• Identify project risks and opportunities and embed mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotations and technical data.
• Support bid clarification meetings, contract negotiations and hand‑over of awarded projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of project or proposal engineering experience.
• 3+ years working with gas compression, gas processing and refrigeration equipment.
• Experience on EPC projects and in fabrication facilities.
• Familiarity with applicable codes, safety regulations and HSE policies.
