Public Affairs & Government Relations Manager

About the role

A leading multinational consumer business is seeking a Public Affairs & Government Relations Manager to lead its engagement with legislative bodies and shape its public policy stance from Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with legislative stakeholders and represent the company’s interests.
• Communicate the company’s position on economic and regulatory developments.
• Develop and articulate the company’s stance on tax issues and other regulatory matters.
• Define long‑term strategy for community investment projects.
• Design and implement an internal communications strategy, using corporate events and communication tools to convey values and strategic messages.
• Build and maintain a strong network of internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven track record of delivering measurable impact in a business environment.
• Demonstrated leadership with the ability to influence and drive results.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities.
• Deep knowledge of taxation and regulatory frameworks.
• Fluent Arabic speaker.

Required skills

• Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication in Arabic and English.
