Purchase Coordinator

About the role

The company, a well‑established chemical manufacturer in Hamriyah Freezone, is looking for a Purchase Coordinator to support its procurement and sales operations. The role bridges sales, suppliers, production, stores, logistics and finance to ensure orders are processed accurately and materials are delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the sales team to handle customer inquiries, quotations and sales orders.
• Prepare sales documentation, maintain customer records and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Create purchase orders, follow up with suppliers and source new vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, obtain quotations and manage material deliveries.
• Collaborate with production, stores, logistics and finance to support smooth order processing.
• Maintain sales and purchase records using Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Generate periodic reports on sales, purchasing and inventory activities.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in local and international purchasing or procurement coordination.
• UAE‑based candidates willing to work in Hamriyah Freezone.
• Strong English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP software.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
