About the role
We are looking for a proactive Purchaser to manage the procurement of goods and services for our operations in Ajman. The role involves interacting with both local and international suppliers to secure the best value while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and source suppliers based on price, availability and quality.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices and gather product information.
- Prepare purchase orders, review requisitions and analyse price proposals.
- Negotiate or renegotiate vendor contracts to achieve cost efficiencies.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, payments and received stock.
- Stay informed about market trends in both local and international contexts.
Required profile
- Graduate in any discipline; accounting knowledge is preferred.
- 2‑3 years of purchasing experience within the country.
- Valid UAE driver’s license.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Tally accounting software.
