About the role
GEMS World Academy‑Dubai is seeking an innovative Primary Years Programme (PYP) Inclusion Teacher to join its thriving Primary department from August 2026. The role focuses on delivering the IB PYP curriculum while providing personalised support for diverse learners in a multicultural environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver inclusive PYP lessons that meet the needs of all students.
- Collaborate with the Primary team to analyse data and adapt curriculum for optimal outcomes.
- Foster a caring, reflective learning atmosphere aligned with the IB Learner Profile.
- Support students with additional learning needs through targeted interventions.
Required profile
- Proven track record of effective teaching and student success.
- Strong alignment with IB philosophy and commitment to the Learner Profile values.
- Passion for inclusive education and continuous improvement.
Required skills
- Bachelor of Education degree.
- Familiarity with the IB PYP framework.
- Understanding of Approaches to Teaching.
- PGDE or PGCE qualification (preferred).
