QA Automation Tester

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in test automation frameworks, API testing, and Agile methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using industry‑standard tools.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Generate test execution reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (ISTQB certification preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality software.

Required skills

• Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright.
• TestNG, JUnit.
• Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI for API testing.
• Programming in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps.
• SQL and database testing.
• Defect tracking with Jira.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
