QA/QC and Snagging Engineer

About the role

The QA/QC and Snagging Engineer will support construction projects by ensuring that all works comply with contract drawings, specifications, and safety standards. You will act as a key liaison between contractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders to maintain high quality and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor construction activities on site to verify compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections, document deviations, and report issues to the Resident Engineer.
• Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, and stakeholders to resolve technical and progress matters.
• Maintain accurate daily records, inspection reports, labor logs, and progress updates.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for project tracking and quality assurance.
• Ensure all work follows safety protocols and regulatory requirements, collaborating with HSE staff.
• Support QA/QC activities, including inspection and testing according to the project quality plan.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, ITPs, and material submittals, providing feedback on constructability.
