QA/QC Engineer – Joinery & Fit‑out

About the role

Royal Joinery is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality standards across joinery and fit‑out projects in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The role ensures that construction work meets client expectations and industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve QA/QC plans for construction projects.
• Conduct regular on‑site inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
• Review construction documentation, blueprints and specifications to identify potential quality issues.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality‑related problems and provide technical guidance.
• Report QA/QC progress to stakeholders and suggest process improvements.
• Verify that all materials and equipment meet required certifications and standards.
• Perform inspections and tests on materials, structural components and systems.
• Maintain detailed records of QA/QC activities and generate comprehensive reports.
• Deliver training sessions on QA/QC best practices to construction teams.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of UAE experience in the joinery and fit‑out industry.
• UAE driving licence is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer are a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of construction codes, standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in quality control and quality assurance processes.
• Understanding of construction materials, methods and practices.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with testing and inspection procedures for construction materials and systems.
• Experience using QA/QC software and tools.
