QC Inspector

About the role

The QC Inspector will work in the LAHAB facility of EDGE Group, performing in‑process and final inspections of mechanical products to ensure they meet all specified requirements. This role supports the production line by applying quality standards and maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect production activities at various stages, from in‑process checks to finished‑product verification, following governing specifications.
• Carry out surveillance inspections and tests as defined in the Quality Plan.
• Record, retain, and report inspection and testing results according to IMS and departmental procedures.
• Maintain documentation and records required by quality management systems.
• Comply with occupational safety and health (OSH) instructions, use appropriate PPE, and follow emergency procedures.
• Assist in preparing risk assessments and report any OSH hazards or incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma with strong mathematics skills.
• Minimum 3 years experience in mechanical manufacturing quality control, covering both in‑process and final product inspections.
• Familiarity with visual inspection standards, technical drawings, and quality agreements.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025.
• Good verbal communication and basic report‑writing abilities.
• Basic computer literacy, especially MS Word and MS Excel.
