QC Manager – Electromechanical

About the role

The QC Manager – Electromechanical will lead QA/QC activities for electromechanical and related services (RSP) on Oil & Gas EPC projects in Dubai. Initially based on‑site, the role may evolve into a corporate position overseeing quality from FEED through handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Project Quality Plans (PQPs), Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and quality procedures.
• Review material submittals, MIRs, technical documents and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections, mock‑ups, surveillance and quality audits.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and balancing of electrical, HVAC, fire protection and ELV systems.
• Manage NCRs, root‑cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Lead and mentor QC engineers and inspectors, monitor quality KPIs.
• Coordinate vendor inspections, FATs and incoming material inspections.
• Ensure proper documentation and project handover dossiers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of QA/QC experience, at least 5 years in a senior/lead role.
• Experience on Oil & Gas/Petrochemical EPC projects, preferably mid‑stream or down‑stream.
• Strong knowledge of EM/RSP, HVAC, HV/LV electrical, fire protection and ELV systems.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NFPA and ASME standards.
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification (preferred).
• Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, BIM/Revit and Procore.
