Qualified Person – Regulatory Affairs (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking a Qualified Person (QP) to lead regulatory affairs for a multinational pharmaceutical company operating in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will act as the Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring that all pharmaceutical activities comply with local regulations and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the Qualified Person/Responsible Pharmacist for all UAE pharmaceutical operations.
• Maintain compliance with UAE regulatory, quality, and pharmaceutical requirements.
• Manage the full regulatory affairs lifecycle, including product registration, licensing, renewals, and variations.
• Prepare, review, and submit dossiers to MOHAP, MOH, and other relevant health authorities.
• Act as the primary liaison with UAE health authorities and respond to regulatory inquiries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent qualification.
• Valid UAE Pharmacist License issued by MOHAP, MOH, or another recognized authority.
• Proven experience as a Qualified Person or Responsible Pharmacist, or in a comparable regulatory role.
• Strong background in regulatory affairs, especially product registration, renewals, and variations.
• Familiarity with UAE pharmaceutical regulations and experience working with local health authorities.
• Fluent Arabic and English communication skills.
• Oncology experience is highly preferred.
