Quality Assurance & Control Manager – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager to lead food safety and quality initiatives across our manufacturing plant in Dubai. The role ensures that raw materials, processes, and finished goods meet both company standards and UAE regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Quality Control and Food Safety functions within the facility.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs, quality control procedures, and food safety standards.
• Monitor quality at every stage—from raw material receipt to production, packaging, storage, and dispatch.
• Conduct regular inspections of production areas, equipment, storage facilities, and employee hygiene practices.
• Verify critical control points (CCPs), GMP, GHP, HACCP, and other food safety measures.
• Review laboratory test results, initiate corrective actions, and oversee CAPA implementation.
• Investigate customer complaints, non‑conformities, and product deviations.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, maintenance, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Perform internal audits and support external regulatory inspections.
• Maintain accurate quality records, calibration logs, and compliance documentation.
• Train staff on food safety, hygiene, GMP, and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control within food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of UAE food safety regulations and international standards.
