Quality Control Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Engineer to join a leading UAE specialist in architectural aluminium, glass, façade engineering and metal fabrication. The role involves ensuring that raw materials, components and finished products meet the highest quality standards across landmark projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of raw materials, fabricated components and finished products against approved drawings and specifications.
• Perform quality checks throughout fabrication, assembly and production of aluminium, glass and façade systems.
• Review engineering drawings, material specifications and quality requirements before production and installation.
• Identify non‑conformities, coordinate corrective and preventive actions with Production and Engineering teams.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and other quality documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, Project, Design and Site teams to ensure quality requirements are met at every stage.
• Monitor fabrication and installation activities for compliance with client specifications and approved method statements.
• Verify calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 QMS, HSE regulations and company quality procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in construction, contracting, aluminium, glass or façade industry, preferably as a QA/QC Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of aluminium fabrication, curtain‑wall systems, glazing and façade installation.
• Proven ability to read engineering drawings, conduct inspections and handle NCRs.
• Good understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and HSE regulations.
