Quality Control Inspector – Project Inspection & Testing

About the role

The Quality Control Inspector ensures that all project work complies with drawings, specifications, and applicable standards. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing inspection and testing activities across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications and scope of work to define inspection and test requirements.
• Develop and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), NDE procedures, weld maps and other QC documents.
• Coordinate with client QC representatives, project management teams and external inspection agencies (TPI, vendor inspectors, testing labs, ASME AIA, certification bodies).
• Allocate and induct QC and NDT inspectors, set objectives, monitor daily progress and ensure use of calibrated inspection instruments.
• Review and verify inspection records, conduct random and final inspections, and stop work when non‑conformities are identified.
• Report non‑conformities, log NCRs, determine root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with company HR, HSE, IT, compliance and quality policies as well as UAE regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality control or inspection within construction or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with international standards and client specifications.
• Strong coordination skills with internal teams and external agencies.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
