Quality & Excellence Officer

About the role

Terracotta is seeking a Quality & Excellence Officer to support a federal government entity in Dubai. The role focuses on implementing quality management systems, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards and corporate governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and monitor policies, SOPs, operation manuals, guidelines and governance documentation.
• Implement and monitor Quality Management Systems, including KPIs, ISO 9001 standards and excellence frameworks.
• Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
• Prepare and issue reports for executive committees and board members, such as KPI and audit reports.
• Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Track, analyze and report on quality KPIs while monitoring corrective and preventive actions.
• Support organizational excellence initiatives and frameworks such as EFQM.
• Ensure audit readiness and maintain quality documentation standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality management, governance or continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of ISO standards and quality management tools.
• Knowledge of corporate governance and organizational excellence frameworks.
• Professional certifications preferred: Lean Six Sigma and ISO Auditor certification.
