Quantity Surveyor – Post Contract (Dubai)

About the role

AECOM is seeking a detail‑oriented Quantity Surveyor – Post Contract to join its Dubai team. You will manage all post‑contract financial and contractual matters for building projects, ensuring accurate cost control and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage post‑contract financials, including cost tracking, forecasting and budget control.
• Process and evaluate contractor claims, variations and change orders with thorough documentation.
• Prepare cost reports, financial statements and project valuations for stakeholders.
• Monitor expenditures against approved budgets and identify cost variances.
• Negotiate and resolve contractual disputes and claims promptly.
• Maintain comprehensive contract documentation and correspondence.
• Conduct site inspections and measurements to verify work completion and quality.
• Liaise with project managers, contractors, architects and clients on financial and contractual matters.
• Prepare final accounts and settlement documentation upon project completion.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, local regulations and industry standards.
